One of My Favorite Websites

Grandparents.com is one of my favorite websites. I just wanted to share this site with you if you haven't discovered it. I don't remember how I came across it but I've enjoyed many of the ideas and articles. I also remember taking a quiz on the site about whether I was a good grandparent and was a little disappointed when I missed quite a few questions and realized that I really needed to improve. Ha! Don't we all think we're the best grandma ever? What are some of your favorite websites?

I finished reading "The Untold Story of Olive Osmond" yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Closer to the end of the book there is a story where Father Osmond calls Mother Osmond an extrovert. Interesting! I hope you continue to give your opinions on the Osmonds being extroverts or introverts because I'm learning a lot from your entries. I've also been discussing this with Wayne. Another interesting perspective would be from their wives. Also what is the current definition of introvert and extrovert? Is one really better than another or is a combination of the two the best? I don't have the answers to these questions but it sounds like an interesting topic to delve into more. What do you think?

Virl and Chris gave us a copy of the book for Christmas which we really appreciate but I've seen the book advertised on georgevirlosmond.com.

You've got my brain going now. I actually googled the words to see exactly what they describe introvert/extrovert.

First question - in talking with Wayne, how does he view himself - introvert or extrovert, or maybe both??

Honestly, I think you can be both - at the same time, probably not (HAH). I know I'm both at times. When it comes to meeting new people, or in a big group, I tend to shy away and be a little quiet (believe it or not). Then, as I get to the know the person/people, you can tell when I've come out of that shell.

I think it's good to be both....nothing wrong with it.

I agree you can be both. For instance on stage Wayne is an extrovert while off stage Wayne is an introvert. As for Mother I think she was basically an Introvert but due to the circumstances of her life became an extrovert.Face it when millions of people call you Mother how can you possibly be an introvert! As for the rest of the family they are probably a mixture of the two Although Marie seems to definitely lean towards extrovert!but then I am sure she has her quiet times. We dont get to see those times. We only see Marie Osmond while you see both Marie Osmond and Marie for example so what do you think Kathy are they introverts or extroverts!!!!
