At the theater during intermission I went out in the lobby and to my surprise I learned that Yakov is a talented artist. He has his original paintings throughout his theater and especially on the walls in the lobby. Below is a photo of one of my favorite paintings but the photo doesn't do it justice. Make sure to view his art when you visit his theater. You'll chuckle at his artistic surprises in the women's restroom. My guess is the same artistic surprises are found in the men's restroom too.
After the show I met the cutest little lady named Virginia who has followed the Osmond Family for many, many years. She remembers watching Andy Williams when he introduced Donny the first time on his television show. Her daughter, Sherry, brought her to the show tonight and I was so happy to meet them. What really amazed me was that Virginia reads my blog and I'm not even paying her.

I saw that Einstein painting. I saw some of the paintings in the theatre. Yakov is talented.
I have to say. I've heard of Yakov growing up and really didn't follow his comedy act. I've never thought I would be in his theatre and even meet him. He's not that bad looking in person. He's good looking. And he's Wayne's age. He doesn't look almost 60. LOL
I love seeing and hearing all about the theater and the shows, can't wait till I come in October. But with all the stuff to look at how does one go about hooking up with you Kathy? The place seems huge!!!! How will I find you? I'm supposedly in the fourth row somewhere in the middle, hope that is a good spot. I think I know this lady in the picture above, she looks really familiar to me. Well anyways, can't wait to come!!!

That would be so cool to see his art work. Hopefully one day i can make it there.Ive developed a love of art since my son married an artist. Her art work was in the july 2009 ensign and on display at the confernce center last year. (emmalee powell).
I think his art work would be amazing to see, i love the fun side hes showing.

Btw, is Virginnia's daughter Sherry OUR Sherry (as in Croach who plays scrabble with Wayne and farmville with me!) or another lovely Sherry?
I wish I could be in branson maybe next year.tonight my 10 yr old is testing for his black belt so as usual I am busy! how is amy i noticed she hadnt updated her blog and was wondering if everything is ok.she is probably like every mom in the world just busy!

Amy is doing well but is expecting another baby so she is trying to take it a little easier - I hope. Jimmy owned the Osmond Theater and he sold it last year. He worked it out so The Brothers could perform at Yakov's theater this season.
It's a different Sherry. I would have posted a photo of her with her mother but both of those photos were really blurry. It is the photographer that uses a camera phone all the time.
I usually go over to the theater about once a week and sit in the back of the theater on Wayne's side. Hope to see you there too.
Congratulations Amy and family! I too had wondered about her, but figured with the start of school she had her hands full!! I hope she is doing well and has a smooth pregnancy and healthy new addition!

I talked to Amy today and she is going to make an announcement on her blog. It just dawned on me that she may know whether the baby is a boy or girl. Look on her blog for more information soon.

I noticed on the concert picture that it says Jimmy will be performing on selected dates. Will he be in Branson for the September 18 show?
Hey Kathy! There's a couple of paintings in the lobby at the theatre that Yakov did of my best friend, Randy Brooks, in his role as Jesus in "The Promise" which used to play in that same theatre. It's always so nice to see his smiling face when I arrive at the theatre since he's off performing on the road!

Jimmy told me he was planning on coming back to Branson after he goes a few places for business so I'm not sure if he'll be back by September 18th or not.
